May 21

Heading north from Walker Pass with the desert behind and Sierra ahead. 
Cooking lunch on the trail. 
Weather is coming in. 
Break out the versatile umbrella for the next 4 hous of rain 
Yeah!! We have reached the one quarter mark. 
It cleared at 6:30 so we could set up camp in the sunshine.

    What a fun way to spend the start of my day…catching up on your adventures. I remember postholing with a pack on my back! Rough going and I was only in my early 30s. Your detailed descriptions are a blast to read. Humor for the humans and awe for nature.
