Departure date 4/3/14

We have our airplane tix to San Diego. Committed! We have our through-hiking permit. Green light! We have most of our food gathered for our resupply boxes. Yum!! We have a lovely couple who will live in our home with Bella!!!! Everything is coming together. Gratitude!

A  GREAT BIG THANKS to Everyone that helps make our hike of the PCT possible!!
It takes many friends to make this hike possible.
Leaving our jobs for the longest period of time in our working history...thanks to everyone at PE for covering my end. A big shout out to my business partner who has encouraged me from the spark of this idea!
Thanks to our property manager & our "Bella" cat-sitter. Acknowledgement to our friends for sending our packages & schelping us around. Recognition of the many "trail angels" in our future. Cheers to our new hiking buddy that is making us a 3 some.
We "bubbies" are in the midst of the whirlwind that is organizing our food, gear & our lives to take on this big adventure.

Blog take two!

So...there is a learning curve with everything.
I set up my first 3 posts with bubbies2.blogspot.com if you would like to view them...unfortunately that did not match up with the cards that we had printed to gave out to our friends. (2bubbies.blogspot.com) i made few calls to Mohr Computer and a few hot flashes later, i may have that problem solved. However the problem with my brain...flipping numbers around, forgetting passwords...appears to be ongoing.

Here is our new Z-Pack tent which Bella & her friend are checking out. This only weights in at 1.5lbs!
